PawMatch-Pet Adoption & Matching App

Client: PawMatch is a conceptual product created to demonstrate an AI-assisted product discovery and UX design workflow.

My role: Creative direction, brand strategy, UX & UI Design

Tools used: FLORA, Illustrator

Duration: 8 hours

Design Brief

PawMatch is a pet adoption and matching app designed to help people find the right pet based on lifestyle, personality, and compatibility rather than appearance alone. The goal was to create a more personalized adoption experience that helps build stronger, long-term connections between pets and their owners.

Core App Capabilities

Lifestyle Matching
Aligns pets with a user's daily routine, activity level, and living environment.

Personality Profiling
Pairs users and pets based on temperament to encourage lasting, meaningful bonds.

Compatibility Scoring
Uses data-driven recommendations to identify matches beyond physical appearance.

Verified Shelter Network
Connects users with trusted adoption partners and transparent pet histories.

Adoption Support
Provides guidance before, during, and after bringing a new pet home.

Goal

Develop an initial product concept presentation that communicates the PawMatch vision through brand direction, visual identity, and early UX concepts. The goal was to quickly translate the app idea into a cohesive experience that could be shared during an initial discovery meeting and help align stakeholders on the product direction.

Using an AI-assisted workflow, the concept was developed within one business day, enabling rapid exploration of branding, imagery, and interface possibilities.

AI-Assisted Design Process

AI-Orchestrated Workflow

To accelerate early concept development, I used FLORA to create a structured workflow that combined research, creative exploration, branding, imagery, and UX concept generation.

The workflow helped transform a product idea into a cohesive design direction within a one-day sprint while maintaining designer-led strategy and creative decision-making.

Process:

01 — Product Discovery
Defined the app purpose, audience, core features, and brand personality.

02 — Brand Direction
Established visual themes, color palette, typography, and identity concepts.

03 — Visual Exploration
Created a hero image and lifestyle imagery to communicate the emotional connection between users and pets.

04 — UX Concept Development
Designed initial mobile interface concepts to visualize the user journey and matching experience.
